The Naughty Boyz Dog Training (NBDT) Dog Trainer Academy program provides an intensive education on dog behaviour and training methods and is open to anyone interested in a career with dogs, doggie parents who want to ensure they are being the best guardians possible, and those who wish to expand their knowledge about dogs and dog behaviour.

Program structure:

Cohort based program (8-10 students)

100 hour program

Major components will include: Theoretical understanding of dogs, hands on with puppies and adult dogs of varying ages and breeds, observing and assisting trainers on the job, live training with real families.

Deep understanding of dogs - evolution, senses, developmental stages, body language, and more!

Evidence behind force-free and positive reinforcement training and why we do what we do!

How to teach basic/intermediate/advanced manners (obedience)

An introduction to behavioural concerns (reactivity, resource guarding, separation anxiety, etc.)

Advanced skills (shaping, agility, etc.)

How to conduct private sessions vs. group classes
