Program structure:

  • Cohort based program (6-8 students)

  • Most students complete the program in one year although completion time can vary depending on how fast students complete requirements

  • Two learning components:

    • Theory + hands-on work: 60 hours total

      • In order to maximize learning and application, our theory and hands-on work is combined to allow you to put theory into practice right away.

    • Shadowing: 50 hours (minimum)

      • Observe and help teach private, semi-private, and group sessions alongside Naughty Boyz trainers.

  • Examination is offered twice a year and is available to students once all three program components have been completed. The exam consists of a written, a practical, and a session simulation component.

What will you learn?

  • Learning theory and how to apply it to canine learners

  • Deep understanding of dogs - evolution, senses, developmental stages, body language, and more!

  • Evidence behind force-free and positive reinforcement training and why we do what we do!
